Skull and Bones deva at Ubisoft Singapore are updating on what the team has been working on and what we can expect in the mid season update that will be arriving in early August.
The devs say that the mid-season update, Y1S2.2, is currently set to roll out with the weekly maintenance on August 6th. Season 3 is also on the way, so upcoming changes are some important ones, and in large ways, influenced by community feedback.
Increased warehouse space is coming in 2.2, and this will not be the only inventory management change, but it will be the first new one and will help the packrats and those who simply want to be well stocked at all times. Another will be new filters on the warehouse and vendors that will help you organize your items better and find what you're looking for.
The update will also increase the amount of ammo you can purchase from vendors, this way you can better prepare for expeditions and make sure you're not stuck at sea in the middle of conflict when you suddenly run out of cannonballs. The team also wants to know if there are any other supplies, namely consumables, that you'll want to be able to purchase in higher quantities from the vendors that would help you on your journeys.
Balance changes are on the way, along with fixes for a number of bugs and known issues. In fact, fixes to some of the issues initially delayed this update, and there are other issues like game crashes for some players that they are continuing to work to resolve completely.
As for those balance changes, these changes will affect many aspects of Skull and Bones, including ships, armor, weapons, furniture, and food. Among them include tweaks to some of the weapons, damage reduction bonuses, and perks.
