Ubisoft has released more details on Skull and Bones Season 4, Shadows of the Deep, which is coming next week on November 19th. Mythic difficulty arrives, new story, new ships, refreshed Smuggler Pass rewards, new events, and much more.

We got a story trailer recently, following Vikram Rajan, a new legendary Sea Lord whose story and quest for vengeance take center stage in the season. Rajan was thought to be long-dead, but he has risen from the deep. He calls himself the Great Shadow, commanding the Shadow Legion and reaping souls In his quest for vengeance. Along with his presence come seasonal contracts, a world event, and bounty,  and you'll earn some sweet rewards if you manage to take him down on any difficulty, with exclusive rewards on Hard and Mythic.

Ghost Ship Defense, an update to Manufactory Defense Mode, is a new mode where you defend your manufactories from spectral assailants that are looking to take down your smuggling Empire at night. Speaking of manufactories, following Season 3, Imperial Jade will gradually become available at some of them. Home Supply Orders will also include raw Imperial Jade if you take down rogue fleets or find them defeated.

Also announced are two cursed sea monsters that will challenge everyone during this season. The Risen Zamaharibu and Risen Mega Lestari are new cursed sea monster versions of some you may remember. They’re not looking so good (of Zamaharibu, the patch notes say, “its deathly appearance and strange abilities have stirred rumours that it has been touched by some dark hand of fate”) but they do offer  new ship customization options. and other rewards.

New World events, the Wolf Hunter, DMC, Ethereal Merchant Convoys, and Shadow Legion are all rolling out for the challenge.

Smugglers Pass offerings include ships, new cosmetic outfits, and Scarlett, the parrot. She's colorful, and she can be yours after you unlock 70 pass tiers. Yes, as you're battling pirate lords bringing corruption,  cursed sea monsters, and spectral enemies,  you can finally have a parrot.
