A huge component of Skull & Bones’s Year 2 changes were shown today with an extensive revamp of the Helm Empire path.
According to the official dev post, Manufactory ownerships, Helm currencies and upgrades won’t be reset at the end of each season, meaning you’ll return to all the work you did each time. The Year 2 reset to implement changes will be the last.
The new Upgrade Tree will give a more straightforward experience. With new upgrades possible, from improving efficiency to unlocking more valuable materials, players can either make a more broad, balanced build or choose to focus on one aspect and faction.
Manufactories will also get major upgrades, including being able to make crafting materials so that you can become a self-sufficient king of the seas. Plus, Manufactory levels are getting shifted from 10 to 5, and Fleet Management gets bumped down to Level 2 as a result.
Finally, the much-awaited “Fund All” option for Manufactories will make an appearance.
More details about Year 2 changes, which were initially delayed, are forthcoming, including a Showcase on April 14.
