The Paladins team has published a handy dandy FAQ on the game's official site that answers some of the most common questions about the siege game mode system that will be heading into Closed Beta 22.
Siege mode pits two teams against one another, each starting at the opposite end of the map from the other. The objective is deceptively simple: The first team to control four points wins the game. The game mode comes with a twist, however, in that capturing a point spawns a payload that then must be escorted to the enemy base. Failure to have a player along side stops movement.
How long will a team get to push the Payload to the opposing team’s base?
Three minutes. Overtime is a six second period that will activate if the attacking team is pushing the cart when the three minute timer runs out. The six second period will not drain unless there are no attackers on the cart, and once it has run out the round is over.
