Digital Extremes is expanding Warframe players' fun and adventure with today's release of the Shrine of the Eidolon update that brings a pair of "towering Eidolons" into the game as players loft into the heavens via the Dargyn flying ship.
Gantulyst is a hulking creature twice the size of Teralyst introduced in Plains of Eidolon with an arm made of rock that flings deadly energy balls at all attackers. Hydrolyst produces toxic clouds filled with poisonous Sentient energy for constant DoT.
While in search of solving these bigger mysteries, players now have a faster way to transport across the Plains. With the introduction of the Dargyn, a solo airborne craft used by Grineer to patrol, players can now power-glide across geography more quickly than on foot, or light up unsuspecting Grineer combatants by making use of the vehicle's quiet engines and built-in weaponry. Squads of players – of any experience level -- can coordinate teams of two, three of four to dominate Earth's skies day or night to take on enemies small and large. The introduction of the Dargyn to players complements the existing Archwing as a secondary aerial method of moving through the Plains, handling players more options and tools to succeed. What mayhem can Tenno cause to the growing Grineer presence?
