The Destiny site has been updated with a new developer post to detail the personal transport vehicle, the Shrike. The Shrike resembles a motorcycle without wheels, similar in style to the speeder used in Star Wars movies.
Unlike the vehicles in your world, Tom Doyle promises us that the Shrike will only get better as you pack on the mileage. “The Shrike is something that you’ll upgrade over time in Destiny,” he says. “Right off the bat, the Shrike has three distinct paint schemes that correspond to your particular Class.”
Each paint scheme has its own distinct color palette to reflect progression,” Doyle concludes, forecasting an evolution that will match your own. Your Shrike is just one more way to tell your fellow Guardians that you’ve seen things they wouldn’t believe.
