The upcoming superhero MMORPG Ship of Heroes has published their June 1 Progress Report that gives players an update as to how development is progressing.

The announcement was posted on their forums and covers five main talking points regarding Ship of Heroes’s development:

First, they are updating their Unreal Enging which will allow them to improve certain FX. This will help the devs optimize for large-scale battles so it will run faster and smoother. Second, they give an update that they are narrowing in on the right number of players in a battle. Third, they are trying to get faster, hi-intensity server from their supplier to keep network performance as high as possible. Fourth, they have revised 70 animations.

Last, they give an update regarding the upcoming invasion test that is still targeted to occur in June. Once the game engine is update and they have finalized the new FX, they will be able to move closer to the invasion test event. The last two updates we’ve heard from Ship of Heroes was how the speed of combat was too fast and a video showing off the Riot at the Arches test.
