The Blade & Soul team has taken to the game's official forums with the welcomed news that steps are being taken to ease the overcrowded servers and to reduce the long queue times that many players are experiencing.
Several measures have been and will be taken within the next 48 hours to relieve the current conditions:
- server capacity has been raised
- an auto-kick feature is to boot inactive players
- new servers will be coming online within 48 hours
With regard to the last point, the community team said that new servers would be for "those of you who have yet to start playing, or those of you who wouldn't mind starting over" but does not address the unique issues faced by founders pack owners who cannot transfer goods from prepurchase of a founder's pack to another server, nor is any mention made of preferred access for founders, both also prominently mentioned by players on the B&S forums.
The good news in all of this is that it s a sign of the excitement that many players have for Blade & Soul. While frustrating at times, crowded is a good thing.
