Seekers of Skyveil Sets New Playtest This Week, Invites All Waitlisted Players

Seekers of Skyveil is getting a big playtest starting this week, on January 10th. The Elodie Games team also has a surprise if you had already applied to test their fantasy extraction ARPG: they've invited everyone on the waitlist.

The 10-day playtest kicks off this Friday and runs through January 19th. We are also getting a brand new trailer tomorrow. In addition to inviting everyone on the waitlist, the team has made a couple of changes to access.

If you go to the official Steam page, you can download the game after requesting access, without having to wait until you are actually invited in order to preload it. This seems like a change that is  carrying forward, so if you haven't already applied for access, you can do that and download the game in the meantime. That change also seems like we'll see more people invited, if you were not on the waitlist and you still want a chance to jump in, you can go ahead and signal your interest. 

Play during the playtest, you can expect events returning like the best plays contest, new Twitch Drops, and two special exclusive cosmetics to take into launch. 

With Seekers set to enter Early Access in March, these moves make sense, particularly the longer playtest and the possibility of additional tests over the next couple of months. With the playtest announced, a new trailer coming tomorrow  morning, and special events on the way, the Seekers of Skyveil  team is definitely launching 2025 in a big way.
