Final Fantasy XIV’s latest Letter From the Producer Live stream unveiled what’s coming in 7.2, Seekers of Eternity, which will be out in late March. There’s also a special offer for FFXIV players who want to see more of Vana’diel.
New Main Story Quests are coming. For the combat-focused, Naoki Yoshida also announced a new dungeon, The Underkeep, a new raid, The Arcadion: Cruiserweight Tier, new Trial, Recollection (in Normal/Extreme), and a new Unreal Trial, Hells' Kier. In that one, you take on Suzaku at level 100. This challenge with one of the Four Lords is one you should prep for.
PvP Series 8 is also coming, with new features for large-scale PvP, adjustments, and improvements, including for Frontline (Secure).
Also for those who love battle is a new large-scale battle centered Duty. Located in the waters of Shades' Triangle, the mysteriously shrouded island, Occult CrescentIs waiting for those who want to uncover its secrets and battle the island's inhabitants as they explore its terrain.
For those who are looking for more quests and other stuff to do, there were a few things of interest to consider. Hildibrand returns with new quests. The new Cosmic Exploration feature is designed for the explorers (naturally), the crafters and gatherers to collaborate and make new discoveries together. There are also new Allied Society quests that are especially appropriate for gathering classes. The Duty Support feature also expands to offer more content you can complete with the help of NPC party members. Look for the Sunken Temple of Qarn in 7.2.
