The Elder Scrolls Online is inviting all owners of the Necrom chapter to join the new Secrets of the Telvanni event for some new rewards the community can unlock together.

The event begins this Thursday, September 28th, and ends on October 10th. There will be daily quests to take on that will have you going around within the Telvanni Peninsula and also into Apocrypha

Adventuring within the Telvanni Peninsula and Apocrypha will also earn you event boxes, the Secret Telvanni Coffers with your daily quests. You’re guaranteed this one per day but have a chance to have extra ones drop when completing certain activities, like defeating a world boss, harvesting resource nodes, and more. In those chests there’s a chance for items like crafting materials, zone set items or companion gear, Necrom furnishings, and more.

As long as you own the Necrom chapter, you’re good to go. “The Telvanni Secret” is the event quest you’ll need to claim from the Crown Store to get things rolling. Or if you prefer, find Master Faras outside the city of Necrom to start.

In addition to any daily quests, this is also a community event. As everyone works together to complete daily quests and  make additional progress, the meter on the event page will rise in order to unlock three separate potential rewards.

Those rewards, and the percentages the community has to hit to get them, are:

  •     33% Ebony Dwarven Scarab pet
  •     66% Nightmare Nest body and face markings
  •     100% Kelesan’ruhn house

There is an additional reward to be gained, but you’ll have a choice to make here which you want to see. Every time you turn in a daily event quest, you'll need to choose between two options for another reward that the collective vote via this method will unlock at the end of the event. The choices are  Oath of the Keepers music box (choose Tralise) or the Apocryphal Tome furnishing (choose Yensa).

This whole event is not only to encourage those who haven't played through Necrom yet, or finished it, to get back in and explore, it’s another opportunity for the ESO community to unlock some goodies.
