For those who have wanted to get back to their roots and face Ragnaros in their original form, the time is nigh, as World of Warcraft Season of Discovery Phase 4 has gone live.
After all of the intense content brought during Phase 3, one can only expect bigger and better things from Phase 4. We can now go from level 50 to 60 and make our way into Molten Core, one of the OG raids that most veteran players remember fondly. We are also now granted access to any and all Classic Zones, and there are plenty of new runes to discover all over the regions.
World Buffs for Alliance characters at max levels have been released, titled “Might of Stormwind”, which grants 15% haste to melee attacks, regenerates 10 mana per 5 seconds, and increases hit points by 300. The Discoverer’s Delight Buff has also been overhauled, as level 1-49 players will see experience increased by 150% and level 50-59 will see a 50% increase in experience gained.
As if there wasn’t enough already going on in SoD, there have been a few class adjustments as well, such as changes to certain runes and new runes becoming available as a few become obsolete. There is a new dungeon to discover, but Blizzard leaves it at that, meaning we will have to figure out where and what it is on our own.
