Season 3 Battle Pass Revealed - Take Off for Space

Epic Games has revealed the theme of its next Battle Pass. When it debuts, players will be taking off for space, not literally, but to earn a wicked space-themed outfit. Battle Pass is, according to Epic, "a way to get exclusive loot by playing Fortnite". It is a pass that players can purchase and as players work through the content, new in-game rewards are unlocked including the Mission Specialist Outfit. The more a player heads into Fortnite to play, the more rewards are unlocked.

The Season 3 Battle Pass includes:

• 100 total tiers in Season 3 which is 30 more than in Season 2
• to unlock all tiers will take 75-150 hours to unlock fully 
• tiers can be purchased for 150 V-Bucks each - you can purchase the Battle Pass + 25 tiers for 2800 V-Bucks

Season 3 will also include weekly challenges that can be completed at a player's own pace:

Tier up even faster by completing the new Weekly Challenges. Each week a new set of seven challenges unlock, replacing the Season 2 Battle Pass daily challenges. Weekly Challenges stack and can be completed any time before the season ends, so if you buy a pass mid-season you’ll still have access to all of the previous Weekly Challenges. You can complete four out of the seven Weekly Challenges to unlock your rewards, so choose the challenges that best fit your style!
