The latest update for Sea of Thieves has released to the high seas bringing about new events and more.
This month, look forward to the Festival of Fishing starting February 25. Additionally, new voyages will be available every week. Be sure to check your Mysterious Note. Additionally, new Festival of Fishing challenges will become available in the Events menu. Rewards to earn include he Frostbite, Gold Hoarder, Order of Souls and Merchant Alliance Fishing Rods and new player Titles.
Additionally, the game now has support for Japanese localization. Steam friends support was also added and brings with it the ability to add friends from your Xbox and Steam lists. You can also join your Steam friend.
Several issues were fixed including:
- Exploding a Gunpowder Barrel on the crow’s nest should now damage the mast.
- Being revived just before you are about to die should no longer cause UI notifications to become disabled.
- When a large group of players perform emotes together, emote animations should now display correctly.
