The collaboration between The Legend of Monkey Island and Sea of Thieves continues with the second Tall Tale of the collaboration, “The Quest for Guybrush”. The new update arrives today, continuing the story of a distorted Mêlée Island and the delusion affecting one Guybrush Threepwood.

Governor Guybrush is leading this mysterious inversion of the island, and it took time to gain an audience with him in the first part. In this second chapter, You have to go back to Mêlée Island to find three specific symbols and pass three specific trials in order to help Guybrush realize who he really is. This means you'll have to explore new places, meet new characters, and master new puzzles and skills. Explore the island, seek out treasure, and even challenge yourself to master Insult Sword fighting and to confront the Beast.

Mêlée Island is key to everything so take time to explore on your own or with a crew, and get more clues to what you must do to make things right. With The Legend of Monkey Island, you can expect the series’ well-known humor in this latest chapter. A new trailer shows off some of what you can expect to encounter in this middle update on your way to fix things and to save Mêlée Island.

The collaboration also includes several new cosmetics that you can acquire in the Pirate Emporium, this time you'll be able to buy the Mad Monkey ship set, along with matching weapons. Make your ship look like a famous shipwreck sounds less than fortunate, but in this collaboration, it makes sense. This chapter also includes cosmetics that will let you dress up like Guybrush. There’s also a costume inspired by the sword master Carla.

The latest update is available now on all platforms. For more, head to Sea of Thieves.
