During today's weekly livestream event, the Sea of Thieves team unveiled a brand new trailer for Tall Tales - Shores of Gold. This is a new set of "narrative-driven quests that make up a larger story" in the overall game world. Tall Tales - Shores of Gold will be part of the Anniversary Update coming on April 30th and that will also feature The Arena.
Shores of Gold will feature nine different "tall tales" that send players off on an epic journey to the Shores of Gold, "a legendary location filled with untold riches". What pirate wouldn't want to take part?!
Along the way, pirates will decipher and solve puzzles, interact with a host of professionally voiced and acted characters and battle with fearsome enemies. Each Tale plays out in “Sea of Thieves’” shared world and are able to be played repeatedly, with secrets and solutions featuring variable locations and opportunities for other crews to interact with your adventure.
