The developers of Sea of Thieves have revealed that there is a cookbook in the works that takes all of its inspiration from in-game meals.
There are over 80 recipes to whip up within the book, each one coming from some of the well known zones within the game. The recipes are collected and created by none other than Larinna, as she has been wandering the world in search of the best fine dining recipes the high seas has ever seen.
There are simple dishes, complex ones, and some that are meant to create a plentiful bounty for you and guests to share, so there really is something for everyone. The cookbook is up for pre-order right now on several platforms, but it is set to release on May 8th of this year, and if you aren’t very savvy in the kitchen, the book actually gives you an idea of difficulty so you “don’t bite off more than you can chew.”
The creation of cookbooks based on specific video games seems to be becoming a trend, as Runescape just released its very own cookbook this week. The recipes and snacks of course being some of the most iconic and nostalgic foods to prepare within the game, it seems that Sea of Thieves (which sails on PlayStation 5 later this month) is cooking up the same type of experience.
