Sea of Thieves Gets Ready to Set Sail on Battle.net

Blizzard Entertainment has announced that Sea of Thieves will be available for purchase on Battle.net on May 22, 2025. This isn’t the first time the title has been made available off of the Microsoft store, with it appearing on Steam in June 2020. And with the Microsoft acquisition of Blizzard Entertainment, it just makes sense that Sea of Thieves will be available to purchase on yet another storefront.

Along with its arrival on Battle.net will come more than a handful of pre-purchase rewards and several editions to choose from. The Standard Edition will retail for $39.99, with the Deluxe Edition coming in at $49.00, and the Premium Edition just a touch more expensive at $59.00. Naturally, each version of the game will come with specific cosmetics and even in-game currency depending on what you’re willing to put down.
