Sea of Thieves Developer Update Discussed Sword Combat and Black Market Archive, Meanwhile Festival of Giving Arrives December 11

A new Sea of Thieves developer update has hit the high seas, with changes to sword combat announced. Additionally, the Festival of Giving was announced for December 11.

The developer video, below, was presented by Joe Neate, Executive Producer on Sea of Thieves. The sword changes discussed are predominantly meant to make combat more fluid. This change is actually just one part of a larger character combat tweak that the team is looking into.

The Black Market Archive, an archived market of items that had been released previously but are now re-sold at a higher markup, was also announced to released in the upcoming update. Finally, the Festival of Giving was teased for December 11 in a tweet along with a short clip.
