Scarif is the latest, and seemingly last, regular content update to Star Wars Battlefront 2.
This update is inspired by Rogue One with islands, white beaches, sandbars, and more. Set to arrive on April 29 (today), the update features Scarif, Yavin 4, Hoth, Death Star. You can also play as starfighters. These locations will be added to Instant Action, in addition to an option for Solo play for those interested. Kylo Ren and some other fan favorties also make an appearance.
The team also notes that beyond this update, the team is transitioning away from these regular content updates, stating
“Looking beyond April, we’re transitioning to a phase where the servers, in-game challenges, recurring events such as Double XP and more, and game support will carry this broad and rich Star Wars gaming experience into the future. This means that we’re moving away from delivering regular content updates. As the game lives on with the players and our community, we’re looking forward to hearing your stories for years to come.”
