Saber Interactive has published its Year 1 Roadmap for Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, the upcoming sequel to 2011’s WH40k: Space Marine, a series of third person hack and slash set in Games Workshop’s Warhammer 40K universe.
The roadmap details both free updates and season pass content coming later this year and through 2025.
When it comes to free updates, starting in September, players can look forward to ultrawide monitor support, private PvE lobbies and a Battle Barge sparring arena. Later this year when Saber drops Season 2, players will be able to enjoy new PvE missions, the addition of a ‘Lethal’ difficulty, the Neo Volkite pistol, and a new enemy to face off against. Later in 2025, Seasons 3 and 4 will offer new PvE missions, PvP game modes and maps, additional new enemies, PvE Prestige Ranks, a horde mode, and more.
Season Pass owners will receive the Ultramarines Cosmetic Pack in September, the Dark Angels Champion, Cosmetic, and Weapon Skin packs in Season 2, and more packs along the same lines throughout Seasons 3 and 4.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 will release on September 9 for the PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 on September 9.
Those who pre-purchase the Gold or Ultra Editions of the game will be granted advanced access on September 5.
