The latest Roadmap Check-In for RuneScape gives some overview on some major upcoming changes to loot tables for the Elder God War dungeon, plus more discussion of updates past, present, and future.

The team has a lengthy section outlining that they’ll be fixing drop rates/tables for the Elder God Wars bosses, as they call these rates a “significant outlier.” So far, according to the blog, the changes will affect  Arch Glacor, Kerapac, Zamorak, and Raksha, as well as TzKal-Zuk’s minions, as well as other loot drops around the dungeon. These changes are not just singular, but instead “part of a continuous initiative” to ensure economic balances.

Coming soon, too, are the updates for Runecrafting & Thieving adding new skilling main-hands, especially as the update as a whole is about increasing “profitability.” Plus, if you want a little more grind, there’ll be a free 48-hour XP boost from May 16 to 26.

The ongoing Return to the Desert storyline will be wrapping up at the end of the year, and in preparation and as part of recent changes, the team reminds everyone that there’s no longer a mandatory grind for the Menaphos Reputation to access certain prerequisite Pharaoh’s Folly quests.

More details of all the changes are in the full blog.
