RuneScape’s latest new quest is live today. Ode of the Devourer continues the Requiem for a Dragon storyline, and takes you into the mysterious Sanctum of Rebirth ahead of the introduction of an all new Skilling boss this month.
In the quest, members will work alongside Icthlarian, guardian of the dead, to investigate a deadly curse, the curse of the Devourer, that is set upon Bill of Amascut. This will turn into the latest big story quest that reveals secrets about the mysterious surroundings as well as introduces familiar faces as you work to help cure the curse in time.
To take on the quest, make sure you’ve completed Requiem for a Dragon and Soul Searching. If you have, then you'll be able to investigate, progress the Desert and Bilrach storylines, and finally, attempt to cure the curse. Ode of the Devourer is a lore-rich quest that will progress a few storylines and get you ready for the next boss challenge.
The mysterious Santrum of Rebirth is RuneScape’s first-ever all-boss dungeon, and for those who’ve completed it, there’s clearly room for more bosses within. This is where the community came to weigh in on some of the considerations that lead to the rollout of the Gate of Elidinis Skilling boss. That boss will become available on September 23rd to all members who have completed Ode of the Devourer, since successful completion will unlock access to the Gates of Elidinis.
As for rewards, curing the curse will net you four 50k XP lamps, and more.
