RuneScape's Next Expanded Seasonal Event, Harvest Hollow, Makes Things Spooky on October 14th

RuneScape continues going big on new and improved events, this time with the newest seasonal event, Harvest Hollow, set for October 14th.

Arriving just in time to haunt your Halloween in Gielinor is a new hub, fully decorated for the season, a new seasonal quest, seasonal activities, a weekly clan contest with prizes, a Maize Maze, with bosses to challenge, and new and returning rewards. When the event begins on October 14th, it will run through November 4th, so you have a couple of weeks to get into the spooky event, meet the Five Horsemen, and start plotting how you'll spend your time among the festivities.

The Harvest Hollow Hub (say that three times fast) features several Skilling activities to train up. Get ready to thematically boost up Summoning, Archeology, Thieving, and Prayer. Nothing like summoning new potential revelers, a little grave robbing, and collecting ancient plunder.

The new seasonal quest, Field of Screams, challenges you to prove your dedication to  the spooky things in life through a series of tasks from the Horsemen clan captain.  you'll be sent to all corners to frighten others and spread the Halloween spirit as long as you are ready to travel around in a costume. The event announcement also includes an official list of what counts as a spooky enough outfit item,  so your first task will really be to have at least four visible spooky pieces to wear.  Complete this quest for loot like 10,000 Spooky Tokens to spend on rewards, and a few items based around your favorite captain –a title, Horsemen uniform, and Horses the Chicken pet.

Help your chosen Horsemen by  collecting the most Clan Confections in the weekly clan competitions. Every confection you hand in will mean a goodie bag for you and the winning clan will be honored and rewarded on Sunday. Take part and you'll even have a chance at a special new pet, the Spirit of Harvest Scythe!

The Maize Maze is a way to challenge yourself. Try avoiding the zombies, defeat implings to acquire special weapons to defend yourself with, and proceed on to challenge some spooky boss Illusions. The central boss will change weekly. Prepare for Phosphosseous, Solak-O'-Lantern, and Skaraxxi in new ways. Every time you successfully complete the maze, you'll get a rewards bag.

This is set to be another huge event, with new and returning activities, loot, and scares.
