The RuneScape team is preparing to unveil gameplay for their upcoming Necromancy skill. the team has announced details about next week's special stream, and what you can expect from the  reveal, creator content, and a Q&A to follow.  the team also has Updates this week on the Max Cash update, the return of double XP, and more.

The Necromancy first look will happen on May 30th at 5pm BST/12PM EDT. There will be an over 8-minute video on Necromancy, featuring gameplay, dev comments, and new details. You will be able to watch this on the RuneScape YouTube channel. Following the video, there will be another series of streams from creators who were invited to the studio to try out the new skill over a two-day period. There are eight different streamers who will share their experiences and impressions after the developers premiere their Necromancy reveal.

Then, on May 31st, also at 5PM BST/12PM EDT, the devs will be back for a community Q&A on the big reveal. this time they will go live on the RuneScape Twitch channel with responses and answers to some questions that they can reveal. This is just the beginning of the series of big reveals that will happen over the course of development and before the skill is released, but the team also emphasizes that they want to preserve some of the mystery and the discovery process, so don't expect all of the secrets.

This week,  there's an update on the Max Cash update that was supposed to come this month, and while they have completed content development, they need more time to test everything so their new timeline for releasing this update is now June 12th.

There is some additional fun to be had if you are working on progression, with the next edition of double XP now available through May 29th. Everyone will have the opportunity to choose 48 hours of Double XP. Since this is the first time a Yak Track and double XP are live at the same time, you'll have to pause the double XP clock in order to get Yak Track bonuses.
