RuneScape has a brand new Easter event. After the Christmas Village expanded event, the Jagex team delivers its promise of an even bigger Easter event for 2024.
The event is on now from today through April 8th, and the new Easter hub, Blooming Burrow, is here. Take on a brand new Easter themed seasonal quest, special seasonal hub activities, repeatable egg hunts, and of course, rewards.
Blooming Burrow is the new hub, one that isn't so new, as the team explains in a new dev video. This is a bit of a reimagining of the Easter Bunny’s Chocolate Factory from the 2009 event. And reimagining and expansion it is. You’ll get to explore this festive, decorated hollow where the Easter Bunny has been taking a rest. He has rested too long and he’s not got competition. It’s up to you to help him out in his quest to get back on top of the chocolate game again.
Find Cocoa Bunny, his niece, who will guide you on a search through Gielinor for new chocolate recipes that the Easter Bunny can make in his factory and win his position back. Help the Easter Bunny out and you will get some new rewards, including a Cozy Bunny Outfit, XP, and tokens for rewards.
You can also take the time to increase your Skilling XP by doing things like mining chocolate rocks, hunting chocolate bunnies, and smithing chocolate foil. This new event is designed to expand and open up the classic event with chocolate and more community involvement.
This year, there are three egg hunts. There’s a daily hunt in Blooming Burrow, a solo egg hunt you can engage in as you travel around, and a community egg hunt. The solo egg hunt will refresh every week and the community hunt will change on the first two Sundays. Find yourself some golden eggs to earn yourself points for rewards.
There are new and returning rewards to collect. New stuff you can claim include a chocolate bunny pet, overhead emotes, and one of the returning items is the Skill Pet Bunny. Check out the Grand Eggs-Change for the loot.
