RuneScape’s new Relic Presets feature is here for you to customize loadouts for your relics and be able to swap between them quickly. This week’s updates also include the Valentine’s Day event and a way for the completionists to prepare for next week’s debut of Combat Mastery Achievements.
Relic presets will let you customize up to four loadouts. Just for completing the tutorial, you'll unlock your first two loadouts. The third tab is something you can purchase later from the Archeology Guild shop once you have the Professor qualification. That will cost you 80,000 Chronotes. The fourth tab? You’ll have to complete the Guildmaster qualification.
Once you have your loadouts, Archeology Relics will be harnessed to two loadouts with three relics each. You can switch your active Loadout for a cost of 80% of the Chronote cost of each Relic that you harness to that loadout. If one of your relics features in more than one loadout, the cost will be adjusted accordingly. There are more details in this week's announcement.
If you are getting ready for the arrival of Combat Mastery Achievements, and you’ve got some time to spare, the team has shared a list of 156 achievements that you can already start completing ahead of launch. Not only does it let you prepare for next week's release of the new feature, it also gives you an idea of what these achievements will acquire at varying difficulty. The eventual release of the feature is setting up hundreds of achievements so this collection of 156 is really the beginning.
Love Letters are once again in demand in Gielinor, with the Valentine's Day event starting on February 13th and running through February 17th. As you adventure, or take part in the Gifts From the Heart Treasure Hunter promotion, you'll start finding love letters. Hand the letters to a Light or Dark Romancer for rewards that include a 20% XP boost for 5 minutes, 25% bonus XP burn boost for 5 minutes or 256 Heartments (the Heartment event shop returns with previous years’ tems).
The 5-minute buffs can stack for up to an hour max each. Depending on which side you chose, light or dark, you can also earn a new title: The Lover for giving your letters to the Light ones, or The Hater if you chose to deliver to the dark Romancers.
