“The RuneScape Returns” update for Smite is here, marking their second collaboration, this time featuring three new RuneScape characters as new skins for Smite gods. RuneScape is also getting its own official cookbook, for a taste of Gielinor.
The first RuneScape and Smite collaboration happened about a year ago and featured character skins such as Blessed Dragonhide Neith, Gnome Child Vamana, King Black Dragon Cerberus. There were also capes. Both skins and capes are available this time around.
The three new character skins this year are: a General Graardor skin for Ymir, Sandwich Lady skin for Amaterasu, and a Black Plate skin for Bellona. That’s right, defeat some gods with a baguette.
Created in high fidelity to replicate the RuneScape art style, the first two skins are available as DLC purchases, while the Black Plate skin for Bellona is a free reward for buying three RuneScape skins or bundles. All three of the new skins are compatible with all of the capes that were released last year and there are 69 of them to earn and customize your experience.
Those bundles include a new cosmetic bundle, and a RuneScape chest that has previous and new RuneScape collaboration skins and cosmetics. There are 69 capes to earn via achievements and customize your experience.
Find out more about the collaboration over at Smite.
RuneScape is also getting its first official cookbook. Set to be published in April 2024, there will be over 50 recipes inspired by places, characters, and moments. So maybe you want to learn to make Terrible Pie, gnome goodies from Gianne’s Restaurant, or treats from the Reicpe for Disaster quest, now’s your chance. If you buy the cookbook you will also get a code for a new Chef's outfit that you can redeem in game.
