The RuneScape team is sharing an update about their plans for the next two months, including the big combat update, along with a new update out today.

This month, expect a collection of Necromancy content, a series of improvements, and a brand new Owlry quest in the City of Um. There will be new moonstone jewelry to craft and some improvements from technical to visual.

In March, Jagex plans to release their big combat update after months of playtesting and community input. Is the proposed window and it is subject to change if they need to do any real fixes, but it's coming soon. Also in March, a brand new Easter event is coming. Taking inspiration from the recent Christmas Village overhaul and big event, the Easter event will be bigger and better, with a new event hub, seasonal quest, new activities, along with new and returning rewards.

As for today’s update, The Wildywyrm now makes more frequent appearances in the Wilderness, as part of the Wilderness Flash  Events rotation. This will work similarly to the King Black Dragon event and spawn the Wildywyrm somewhere near the source of the River Lum. Look out for the first spawn around 11PM GMT/ 23:00 / 6 PM ET. You still have a couple of hours together a strong group together to take on the event, which is in the list after the “Unnatural Outcrop” event. If you slay the wyrm, you may walk away with sacks of rewards, and the Wyrm Reward Gland, from which you may get wyrm spikes, hearts, or scalps.

The Valentine's event is coming, and the Devotion Sprites are coming starting February 9th. Catch one each day through February 15th for a Lovely Gift Box, with Valentine’s rewards.

The update also fixed some issues and added improvements off the Community Hitlist requests and Game  Jam work. The next Double XP event was also dated for February 16th through the 26th.
