With just how long RuneScape has been  keeping players challenged and playing, there are new wearable crowns of loyalty available for members who have maintained long periods of time with active subscriptions.  The latest update also continues the double XP  event, makes a few fixes, and begins the countdown to discontinuing 32-bit system support.

RuneScape has  created special rewards for loyal players before, but the new Crowns of Loyalty will let you display your longstanding, unbroken membership, in a very obvious way. If you're eligible, you'll have a new Crown in your bank when you log in. These new crowns work with the members loyalty score and unbroken membership has no gaps. They are adding crowns to cover five years, with 2021 to 2025 included.

Jagex is also beginning the process of saying goodbye to 32-bit system support. In this week's notes, they announced that RuneScape will no longer support Windows 32-bit builds and graphic cars that don't support OPENGL 3.0 or higher. This is the latest game that is going to focus more on more current platforms and end support for older systems.

The double XP event will continue through May 30th, and you'll be able to take advantage of 48 Hours of time to boosted XP. You can pause your double XP when you don't need it, but you can only get up to 48 hours total. However there is a new feature this year where you can exchange hours that you would normally have for earning Double XP with Nic the Trader. In trade up to 1 hour per day for  250 credits to members or 50 credits for a free to play players and you'll be able to use them on various items like Prismatic Fallen Stars, Prismatic lamps, and even Spirit gems. So if you don't need to use all of your hours, you won't  have to waste any of them since you'll be able to trade in a few if you won't be available.
