Runes: The Forgotten Path Invites Players to BE a Mage

Indie developer Stormborn Studio has high hopes its new RPG, Runes: The Forgotten Path, will let players move beyond playing a Mage, and find out what it feels like to be one.

The game gives players the ability to manipulate Mage characters' arms, moving them in runic shapes to cast powerful spells. It features 100 of these spells, and is being made for use with Oculus Rift for added immersiveness. The Forgotten Path is being made for both PC and console which means basic controls can be used; however, the Stormborn team is recommending advanced controllers such as the STEM System or Leap.

Details are sketchy as far as what the rest of the game has to offer, but for now, check out its introductory trailer.

After that, check the game out on Stormborn's official website.
