Rockstar Games has revealed much more about the upcoming Grand Theft Auto Online: San Andreas Mercenaries update, including all the new gameplay updates, balance changes, and player experience and Creator additions.

At the center of the new update, going live on all platforms on June 13th,  is the storyline that sees you get to go up against San Andreas’ largest private military. You’ve got some tricks up your own sleeve, as you join forces with pilot and aircraft mechanic Charlie Reed, who is putting together the Los Santos Angels, an elite group of pilots and mercs. Taking on private gigs, like stealing important data, or conducting raids, will be part of the deal, and the update already promises to cover land, sea, and sky. The pilots are there for reasons, after all.

Expect a number of new gameplay updates and options to make your experience easier. First, hold to sprint is coming to the settings menu. The new Register as a Boss option merges SecuroServ and Motorcycle Club in the interaction menu. Buying body armor is going to get easier, with the removal of rank requirements for armor and a new “buy all” option for armor at Ammu-Nation. After you quick restart a mission, body armor will also be restocked and match the level when you first entered the lobby. When you equip it via the weapon wheel, the type of armor used will depend on how much damage you've taken. So you'll get the best option.

You'll also be able to claim all destroyed vehicles at once when you file a Mors Mutual Insurance claim. Garages will get custom description tags so you can have an easier time knowing where your  vehicles are. You also won't get phone calls when you are parachuting or in freefall, and so they'll probably happen at a more convenient time.

Payouts are going up on many events and collectibles. There’s also a new system, Career Progress, coming on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S  that lets you track your progression as you rank up in the criminal ranks and grow your empire. This is designed to help you see all your progress and plan your actions.

Finally, there are a number of new  options added to the Creator system. This means dozens of new props, so you can add underwater mines, destructible fences, and more. This also includes new weather options for Deathmatches, Races, and Survivals, like snow or Halloween settings. Deathmatches will also have a new option –Dynamic Teams–where players can change teams when respawning. On PC, the prop limit rises to 300, giving more room to take advantage of the new suite of options.

You can read more details about the update over at the Rockstar Newswire.
