Rockstar has issued a number of fixes for the Rockstar Games Launcher.
The fixes are general improvements for launch crashes, signing out users, and challenge progress resets:
- Improvements to address an issue that resulted in the players being unable to launch Red Dead Redemption 2 after a Rockstar Games Launcher crash
- Improvements to address an issue that resulted in Red Dead Redemption 2 defaulting to the system language and not the language chosen in the Rockstar Games Launcher
- Improvements to address an issue that resulted in players being signed out and Red Dead Redemption 2 rebooting after being prompted to retry connection in the Rockstar Games Launcher
- Improvements to address an issue that resulted in updates not being applied after being prompted to restart the Rockstar Games Launcher
- Improvements to address an issue that resulted in the Rockstar Games Launcher prompting players to try launching Red Dead Redemption 2 after being unable to detect Windows Media Player
- Improvements to address an issue that resulted in players not being prompted to update Red Dead Redemption 2 when updates were available
- Improvements to address an issue that resulted in players being prompted to sign into the Rockstar Games Launcher, when trying to launch Red Dead Redemption 2 in Offline mode after previously signing in
- Improvements to address an issue that resulted in some Red Dead Redemption 2 Challenge progress being reset after disconnecting
