In a tweet today by Riot's Greg Street, VP of IP and Entertainment at the studio, the company has confirmed that its creating an MMO. Also, in the same tweet the studio confirmed they were hiring for this endeavor.
League of Legends fans have been clamoring for an MMO set in the game's universe for years now, and Street's tweets confirm that the team behind the MOBA phenomenon is currently working on one in the League universe.
Street made the announcement in a tweet putting out a call that they were hiring, but confirmed that it's an MMO in a subsequent reply.
