Riot has released a new Ask Valorant discussing agent-specific key bindings, agent selection time, and more.
Regarding the agent-specific key binding, the team doesn’t have any timeline on when this implementation may happen. However, they note this hasn’t dropped off on their list of to-do’s. Right now, they’re aiming for some version of this for Episode 3. So yeah, it’ll be some time.
They also discussed extending the period for a match remake vote. Riot’s concern here is competitive integrity. They note,
“Extending the available window, automating the remake function in particularly fast AFK cases, and creating clarity on when a remake is being initiated versus a surrender, are all pieces that we’re considering.”
Finally, Riot is currently happy with their agent selection time for Spike Rush. They note that the current selection time is to offset the different load times for different players.
