Amazon Games' MMORPG New World could be seeing its world adapted for a new video game anthology series, according to a new report by Deadline. The show , dubbed Secret Level, would include New World, as well as many other game IPs as part of the series.

Secret Level is being reported as an anthology series helmed by the studio behind Netflix's anthology show Love, Death & Robots, Tim Miller's Blur Studio. According to the Deadline report, Secret Level's episodes will follow a similar format to Blur's previous series, with each one depicting a short story set withing different game worlds. Amazon's MMO New World was mentioned in the report, and there is a rumor that many PlayStation IPs would also be adapted. Spelunky is also listed as a reported world to be featured.

Secret Level would be produced by Amazon MGM as well as Blur Studio, though no official word has come down from either production house.

New World would mark the second video adaptation an Amazon Video studio would be producing, following this year's excellent Fallout series. That adaption was widely considered one of the best in recent memory, so here's to hoping that Secret Level can help to continue that trend.

New World itself is gearing up for a transformation of its own, rebranding as New World: Aeternum when it relaunches on PC, and on console for the first time in October. The new version will, in essence, replace the existing PC version with revamped storytelling, a new combat camera bringing players closer to the action, a new PvP zone, and much more. Despite concerns since Amazon seemed to be rebranding its MMORPG as an ARPG, the game's director Scot Lane assured players in an interview during Summer Game Fest that they would "not be taking anything away" from the MMO.
