Frostkeep Studios has a new post on the Rend site to let fans know that the game's Early Access program will be pushed back until later in 2017. The letter informs players that the team wants to take Rend to the next level based on player feedback from pre-alpha. As a result, Frostkeep is "re-evaluating current development plans and exploring ways in which we can deliver an even more robust in-game experience at launch".
The post goes on to further explain that new features and mechanics will be added over time, some as early as the next few weeks. Players are warned, however, that there may be times when the game will go "dark" in order to better prepare the client for updates.
