In celebration of the thirteenth anniversary of the launch of World of Warcraft, Blizzard has raided the Old Bosses' Home to trot out a number of retired favorites for players to take on. These geezers ain't toothless either. Each of them has been updated to Legion's level for the event and can drop iLevel 900 gear.
The quest is called "The Originals" and features the Lord Kazzak's new iterations of Doom Lord Kazzak in Outland and Supreme Lord Kazzak in Tanaan Jungle.
You may remember classic Kazzak moments like this when he originally spawned in the Blasted Lands and could be kited all the way to Stormwind to rain terror on the innocent Alliance.
You'll also be able to battle the Four Green Dragons that used to spawn near Emerald Portals in Duskwood, Hinterlands, Ashenvale and Feralas. You'll take on Emeriss, Lethon, Taerar and Ysondre, each with its own loot table and abilities. In addition, Azuregos, late of a long and detailed questline to get the Mark of Frost, will be making an appearance as well.
The event will also reward players with a Celebration Package that provides +13% to XP and reputation gains for the duration.
The anniversary event runs from November 16th through November 30th.
