During the latest Into the Vault stream, the Star Vault team previewed Mortal Online 2’s upcoming Relic War Systems, Guild Heraldry, and more coming to the public test servers this December.
The Relic Wars are centered to a heavy degree on the Reliquary Relic, which will, of course, be put into a structure called a Reliquary to give the guild special Boons for a limited lifespan. Other players can steal these, but only with the help of a Reliquary Siphon, which will drain the energy from the Reliquary Shield until the actual Relic can be lifted.
There will also be other types of Relics to go for including a Meteorite Relic that can be mined for materials, a PvE Relic that creates a horde-style game for special loot, an Armament Relic that gives armor or weapons, and a Conquer Relic that spawns loot in intervals, incentivizing guilds to camp it.
Guild Heraldry was also previewed, allowing guilds to create their own, well, Heraldry to give their uniforms a custom touch. There’s a lot of ways these can be edited, including over 100 custom symbols to mix and match, customizable divisions of patterns, rotations and scaling options, and more.
Star Vault also announced December 8 as its next Sprint PTR launch, which will bring the test of these systems, an overhaul to the Broker system, the Krampus event, and other changes as usual.
