Kakao Games is inviting Black Desert Online players to release their inner fashionistas to participate in the Global Costume Contest. The ultimate winner will take home $10,000 USD and have their design implemented in the game.
The contest begins today and runs through March 5th. The top five designs in North America and Europe will be announced on the 14th, with the community vote starting on March 19th. The prize winner will be announced on April 11th.
Each region will produce a finalist, who will enter to compete against designers from South Korea, Japan, Russia, Taiwan, South America, Turkey, Thailand and South East Asia.
The costume design of the global grand prize winner will be developed by Pearl Abyss and added to the game. The full prize package will include 10,000 USD (before regional taxes) or in-game Pearl currency of the same value. Regional winners will be awarded prizes worth 3,000 USD(before regional taxes) or the equivalent in Pearls. Every designer who invests their time and effort into entering the costume design contest will also receive a prize.
