Indie MMO Developers Atlant Games had some bad news last week when they announced that Reign of Guilds wouldn’t meet their Early Access launch deadline of March 10th. Instead, they are shooting for a new deadline by the end of the month.
The medieval fantasy game Reign of Guilds had initially planned their Early Access release on March 10th, but according to the developers, the cause of the delay had to do with the ‘moderation process’ in the Early Access section of the game description.
While no details were provided as to what exactly was wrong with the description, the issue was enough to force the team to delay their release two weeks and a half weeks. In the interim, Atlant has released a new patch heading into Early Access which brought some minor fixes to the game, like enhancing loot drops of certain mobs, fixing several mob bugs, and changes to sword and board combat.
Atlant has also stated that they have decided they will no longer participate in the upcoming Steam Spring Sale, which has already begun and will end on the 23rd, most likely due to not being able to publish the game in time. While more delays are possible, the team has stated they will update again if they aren’t allowed to publish by their next planned release date.
