We previously shared how Rockstar is making a standalone version of Red Dead Online. Well, it’s now available.
Red Dead Online is now available to purchase as a standalone game from the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Launcher, Epic Games Store and Steam, with PS4 and Xbox One versions playable via backward compatibility on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S. It’ll cost you $4.99 until February 15, at which point the price will increase to $20.
Additionally, the Prestigious Bounty Hunter License is now available in Red Dead Online. You can find it at any Bounty Board by any Bounty Hunter, featuring 10 Ranks with new high-level items, skills, weapon variants and horses, along with new Infamous Bounty Targets.
You can take advantage of increased RDO$ and XP for all Posse members on Free Roam Missions, Bounty Missions, and Free Roam Events through December 7. Gameplay improvements include the ability to combine stubble with beard styles, the Advanced Camera is now usable on horseback, and Gunspinning Management option for Gunspinning tricks learned by Bounty Hunters.
