Ravendawn Servers Reach Max Capacity, Bans for Ship Exploit Go Out

Ravendawn continues its post-launch success, with the Tavernlight Studios team celebrating a new update, 70k on Discord, and both servers hitting capacity.

The team continues to work on several issues, including fixes and bans for exploiting a ship bug that was causing buffs to last way longer than intended. The team revealed that they investigated dozens of cases and have banned most players who participated in this exploit, most of them permanently. There are some exceptions, with some players getting 7-Day or 3 Day bans for minimal involvement, like simply getting the advantage but not returning to intentionally abuse the exploit.

Tavernlight has also set up a middle man for those who are looking to buy or sell land. This is a security measure to help avoid scamming, but the team has also scaled up to help combat house scammers or land scammers. You should continue to remain careful, but if something does happen, providing verifiable proof may get action taken. They will review accusations.

Both servers hit max capacity this week, so the potential for further growth is there, but nothing solid just yet.

There was a new patch today that also reduces a few other potential exploits. For those who thought summoning a wagon in the middle of combat was a good strategy, it isn’t, and won’t be allowed anymore. Wagons get several other changes in pvp, including destroying a wagon does not provide infamy if the owner is a PK. A bug that was flagging someone as PK when killing a wagon while defending as a PK has also been fixed.

You can now send or disable the messages from the Looking for Group channell. You also now have to be level 15 to send LFG messages at all.  Land taxes also got some fixes, and they should now be working as intended.

A few other changes adjusted Wurns with extra damage, stats, and skills.
