Ravendawn’s 2025 roadmap is out. Some of what we can expect include a brand new launcher on the way, overhauled Archetypes and skill points systems, the promised mobile client, new ambient world effects, new tournaments, a redesign of fishing, and even new open world events and bosses.

Update 2.1.0 is coming next week, to begin the Archetypes and skill points rework. Balance changes mean that you'll have to reassign all your skill points when you log in after the update.  This update will also adjust crafting, exploration, and combat, adding new ambient world effects, and balance adjustments.

The update also brings a brand new launcher designed to offer a smoother and more seamless experience. The team notes that there have been some download and update issues and errors when patching so the new launcher is designed to provide a more secure and technically smoother foundation that will help them also continue updating into the future. You may need to download a new launcher when the update arrives, but more info will be on the way soon before the update.

Ravendawn is getting an overhauled breeding system  to make it more integrated and immersive, and make it feel more aligned with other professions like Herbalism or Mining. Expect a lot of item revamps, advanced breeding now requiring Alchemy skills into the process, the phases have been redone, and the team will also be adding new baby moas.

There's a lot more in the dev blog that includes the new roadmap. Items on the way include the mobile client after 2.1.0, an emote wheel, redesigned fishing, new open world events, bosses, new expeditions, (Ravendawn’s dungeons), And even new archetypes. listed on the roadmap and with some details is the next major expansion update that they are aiming at for somewhere later this year. this one is a big one and includes new equipment types and tears, a major content expansion that grows the World by 40%, Guild houses and Storage systems, and much more.

The Tavernlight Games team make sure to emphasize that these are only some of the plans they have for the year, Yet the road map contains most of the major plans to look forward to.
