Gloria Victis has been patched with a significant update that brings a number of new features and improvements to the game. The patch is anchored by the arrival of Ranked PvP Duels that include leaderboards and arena-based battles that take place "in a fair environment where their own skill determines the outcome of the battle".
In addition, players will now find six locations that are perfect for "massive open PvP battles between three factions", each of which can be captured and developed by players. These locations are ripe for the picking and come complete with castles, farms and lumber mills.
The PvP Tournament location has been updated to provide better balance in the 3-nations warfare taking place in the area. More tactical locations have been added "like spots for archers and covered places where warriors can fully engage in brutal close-combat fights".
For those more inclined to spend time in PvE locations, new areas have been added to the three remaining zones to provide support for the ongoing faction wars.
