Ragnarok X: Next Generation Releases Worldwide On Mobile And PC

Ragnarok X: Next Generation is now available worldwide. Developer Gravity Game Hub has promised to bring the “next generation” of MMORPG to the public through this new title. The game is available on PC, Android, and iOS devices and features cross-play.

Ragnarok X: Next Generation was previously only available to Asian regions, but can now be played in North America, Europe, and other territories through its worldwide release. This new version of Ragnarok Online is entirely in 3D, doing away with the pixel sprites seen in the original game. Like most modern MMORPGs made to accommodate mobile devices, it does feature auto-questing.

A total of six base classes are available, with players able to pick one of two subclasses through progression. The bases classes are:

Swordsman
Mage
Archer
Acolyte
Thief
Merchant

For those not interested in jumping into this “reimagined” version of the classic MMORPG, Ragnarok Online did receive an update in April 2025 — however, it was just a collaboration with the Kung-Fu Panda films, and wasn’t anything significant.
