PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds players trying out the female character models on the game's test server were surprised to see a rather inappropriate female character model. The character is dressed in skin-tight shorts with genitalia prominently shown as a result. The model in question is a new one as earlier versions of female characters did not have this same imagery.

After having the images pointed out, PUBG's Brendan Greene said, "After looking into this, it appears it came as part of the character model we received from an outsourcer when we first started the project. The file itself has not been changed in 2 years. It will be updated shortly with changes! Sorry for any offense caused.

As one Twitter user said, "Rookie mistake. Every art director knows when you get an asset from outsourcing, you have to check for: 1) Swastikas; 2) Swear words; 3) Miscellaneou genitalia."

The potentially NSFW image in question:

Hopefully the character model is removed so everyone can get back to talking about the XBox One launch and the exit from Early Access.
