It looks like PUBG has sold over 70 million copies as Season 8 is set to release on PC on July 22, with consoles and Stadia to follow on July 30.

Season 8 will see a return to Sanhok, the smaller jungle map released some time ago. However, the team is revamping virtually everything about Sanhok. Some locations like Boot Camp, Ruins, Pai Nan, Khao, and Quarry are set to see some major overhauls.

New features for Season 8 include the loot truck, which are described by the press release as autonomous cargo transports. They’ll drop loot as they become damaged, so if you destroy it, you’ll be rewarded with some pretty serious loot.

One of these rewards include fully customized weapons with pre-installed attachments and skins. Additionally, jerry cans have been improved. A new ranked season is incoming as well with Update 8.1. This update brings the change to scoring wherein Ranked Point acquisition now taking team placement into account. Additionally, Vikendi has been added to the Ranked map pool.

You’ll be able to check out Update 8.1 on the test server on PC today, with it hitting console test on July 20.
