World of Warcraft Cataclysm Classic launched this week, with the first level 85 hitting that mark in an exciting way, dodging hotfixes and leveling in hours. We’re getting closer to the start of PvP season 9, new battlegrounds, and the launch of the three new raid dungeons.

All of this begins on May 28th. Blizzard has a new preview collecting info about those three raids, from locations to bosses, along with PvP info to know before heading into another leaderboards chase. Rated Arenas and Rated Battlegrounds are in the mix, offering the opportunity to earn Conquest points to get yourself geared in even better loot. Resets will happen weekly, so you’ve got chances to improve and make your way up if you’ve got seeking loot and glory in mind. Or maybe you’re more interested in besting enemies to show off your mastery for its own sake. There are two new battlegrounds in the mix with this next content update: Battle for Gilneas and Twin Peaks.

The centerpiece here are the raid dungeons, however. The Bastion of Twilight, in the Twilight Highlands, will be available in Normal and Heroic for 10/25 groups. On Normal, there are four bosses, and five on Heroic. Is the only one of the three raid dungeons in this expansion that has an additional boss on a higher difficulty. That additional boss is Sinestra, Deathwing’s consort.

In Blackwing Descent, there are rumors of horrifying experiments and the work of Nefarian, Deathwing’s son. Reanimated and changed by his father, his experiments have gotten even darker. Located in the Burning Steppes, this raid will have you stopping Nefarian and his work. Provided you get through the other five bosses first.

Finally, Throne of the Four Winds will take you straight to the Windlord in his personal throne. While there are technically only two bosses here, The Conclave of Wind has multiple members. See past their tricks and you can get a crack at Al’Akir himself in the final battle.
