PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds CBT Starts 24th Of February

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds will be entering Closed Beta Testing beginning on February 24th in all regions. CBT is expected to last approximately 4 weeks with servers being available to testers each Friday to Sunday throughout the duration. The team will be on hand to implement changes and fix bugs according to player feedback.

Major improvements include the addition of new map, lighting and animation updates, more precise gun play, level streaming, UI improvements, destructible environments and more.

When we first started planning our launch, it was our goal to transition from Closed Beta directly into a full launch of the game. Following our second Alpha, we had several discussions on the topic, to gauge what best fits Battlegrounds. We decided to enter Early Access first, with a full launch later this year. Given how much our philosophy revolves around developing this game alongside our community, we feel that Early Access is a good fit. We look forward to continuing to collaborate with all of you as we constantly strive to improve the game.
